This Cookie Policy explains how Kingz ("Kingz", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies (pixels, tags, local storage and software development kits) on www.kingz.com. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, work in a similar way. Some are essential for the site to work, for example keeping items in your cart. Others help us understand how the site is used, remember your preferences, or show you relevant ads.
Cookies set by Kingz on www.kingz.com are "first-party" cookies. Cookies set by another company, such as Google or Meta, are "third-party" cookies. Some of our first-party cookies are set by our own server-side tagging service (see Stape below).
How we manage consent
We use Pandectes, a consent management app for Shopify, to show our cookie banner, record your choice and block or allow tools based on that choice. Pandectes passes your choice to Shopify's Customer Privacy system and to Google Consent Mode.
- US visitors: analytics and marketing tools are on by default, and you can opt out at any time. Where state law treats advertising cookies as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, opting out stops them.
- Visitors from places that require opt-in consent (for example the EU, UK, Switzerland and Quebec): non-essential cookies stay off until you accept them.
How to change your choice
- Cookie settings: click the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of any page to reopen your cookie preferences. You can accept or reject each category at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything collected before you changed your choice.
- Your Privacy Choices: US residents can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising on our Your Privacy Choices page.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser.
- Your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the cart and checkout from working.
- Ad settings: you can also manage ads through Google Ad Settings, Meta Ad Preferences and the industry opt-out at optout.aboutads.info.

1. Strictly necessary
These are needed for the site to work: your cart, checkout, security, fraud prevention and remembering your cookie choice. They cannot be switched off.

These help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Where possible the information is aggregated or pseudonymous.

4. Marketing and advertising
These measure our advertising and help us show you relevant ads and emails on other sites and apps. Under some US state laws this can count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information, and you can opt out at any time (see How to change your choice).

Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode. When your consent is needed and you have not given it, or when you opt out, Google tags do not store advertising or analytics cookies on your device. They may still send cookieless signals that Google uses for aggregated measurement.
How long cookies last
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies last for a set time, from a few minutes up to about 2 years, unless you delete them sooner. Your consent choice is stored in the Pandectes _pandectes_gdpr cookie, which expires 12 months after you make your choice. After that, we ask again.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the tools we use change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
