What size Kingz kids' gi should I order?

Kingz uses M00-M5 sizing based on height and weight. Most kids age 4-12 fall between M00 and M3.

Yes — Kingz kids' gis are built to IBJJF youth specifications and are tournament legal.

How fast do kids outgrow a BJJ gi?

Most kids get 12-18 months from a properly sized gi if washed cold and air-dried.

Kimonos Enfants

Kids BJJ gis built to survive real training. Kingz youth gis use the same pearl weave and construction standards as our adult lineup — most models are 100% IBJJF legal, pre-shrunk 90–95% so the fit you buy is the fit you keep, and available in youth sizing from M0 to M4 in white, blue, and black.

A kids jiu-jitsu gi takes a beating that adult gis don't. Kids grow, they train hard, and they wash their gi twice a week. Reinforced stitching at the stress points, a collar that holds its shape after months on the mats, and pants that survive repeated knee slides are the difference between a gi that lasts a season and one that lasts until they outgrow it.

Choosing the right size

Youth gi sizes run by height, not age. Kingz kids gis are pre-shrunk, so measure your child and buy close to their current size rather than sizing up and hoping they grow into it — a gi that swallows them is a gi that gets grabbed in every roll. Sizes run M0 (roughly 3–4 years) through M4.

Gi or no-gi for kids?

Most academies start children in the gi. It teaches grip fighting, patience, and the fundamentals of leverage before speed becomes a factor. If your child's program trains both, they'll need a gi plus a kids rash guard for no-gi days.
