This year marks a decade of partnership between Kingz and Leandro Lo, and we're celebrating it by recreating his favorite gi (The Kingz Ultralight) in a very special design. 

As part of our "Respect Is Earned, Not Given" campaign, we launched a special-edition gi honoring one of the greatest legends of jiu-jitsu, both on and off the mat. 

And it's not just symbolic. A percentage of every sale from this collection goes directly to Instituto Leandro Lo in São Paulo, Brazil, supporting the next generation of athletes coming up in his name. 

Still the Ultralight, at Its Core 

This is still Leandro's favorite gi — the Ultralight. So if you already know and love this gi, you're getting all the same performance you're used to, just with a design that means a little more. 

  • 420 GSM pearl weave, pre-shrunk jacket — noticeably lighter than other gis. If you've ever struggled to make weight for competition, this is exactly the kind of gi that helps you shave off that last pound or two without sacrificing durability. 
     


What Makes This Edition Different 

This special edition carries a Leandro Lo tribute design created specifically for this campaign — so every time you put it on, you're carrying a piece of his story with you. 

A few details that make it special: 

  • Lettering on the inside reads "Respect is earned, not given." 

  • Lettering on the shoulders reading "Respect is earned" on one side and "not given" on the other 

  • A tag reproducing Leandro's iconic pre-match pose
